    Kim Scott

From her 2011 debut album, “Crossing Over”, to her #1 Billboard charting 2025 album, “Livin’ It Up,” Innervision Records label recording artist Kim Scott has impressed audiences across the globe in performances and on the airwaves.  Known for her exceptional tone, intoxicating melodies, and flawless technique, she is one of the most sought-after flutists in both the classical and jazz fields. The contemporary jazz superstar has an ever-growing fan base garnered from her continued presence on the performance scene and from her visibility as radio host of the nationally syndicated, two-hour jazz program, “Kim Scott’s Block Party Radio”, which airs weekly across the world. She has a fresh image and sound for today’s contemporary jazz scene.

With six albums to her credit, Kim Scott has proven to be a mainstay in the field and a promise for the future as both a soloist and collaborator. Most recently named Smooth Jazz Network’s “Smooth Jazz Artist of the Year”, Kim has garnered four #1 Billboard singles on the charts and received Billboard’s placement for “Song of the Year” for her single, “SHINE!” in 2022. In addition,  the album “SHINE!” was the #1 album on Smooth Jazz Global’s “Year-End Top 100 Albums Chart.” She also has seven #1 Mediabase singles on the chart.

Kim has performed on the stages of the Seabreeze Jazz Festival, the Algarve Smooth Jazz Festival, the Greater Hartford Jazz Festival, the Catalina Island JazzTrax Festival, the Gulf Coast Jazz Festival, Blues Alley, Steel City Jazz Festival, and more. A versatile player, Kim is not only well-known as one of the top flutists in the country, but she is also known for her role as a member of the all-female jazz supergroup, Jazz in Pink, and as piccoloist of the Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra.  Kim Scott is a Miyazawa Performing Artist.
