Bianca Fiorito has been a member of the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra since 2021.

She was born in Rome in 1999 and received her music diploma at the age of fifteen from the Conservatorio S. Cecilia.

She continued her studies at the Académie Supérieure de Musique in Strasbourg (France) with Prof. Dr. Mario Caroli and later at the Mozarteum University Salzburg (Austria) with M. Kofler, where she completed both her Master’s degree and postgraduate studies. She further continued her training with A. Lieberknecht at the University of Music and Theatre Munich.

She is a prizewinner of several international flute competitions, including the Concours Larrieu in Nice, the Gazzelloni Competition, the AudiMozart Competition, the Krakamp Competition, and the Stoutzker Prize Salzburg.

As a soloist, she has performed with orchestras in Italy, France, Germany, and Switzerland. She is also strongly dedicated to contemporary music, frequently performing world premieres and works written for her. Since 2026, she has served as lecturer for orchestral flute studies at the Nuremberg University of Music.
